Welcome, I’m glad you’re here.

I offer in-person and virtual therapy for couples and individuals in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

Services

  • Relationships can bring joy and fulfillment to our lives when we feel connected to our partners, and can bring pain and distress when we're feeling disconnected.

I guide couples in identifying and transforming the negative patterns they may be stuck in.

I offer weekly couples therapy sessions, as well as Couples Immersions. (See linked page for more information.)

The couples I work with include couples who are queer, non-monogamous, and those with marginalized identities.

I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based treatment rooted in the science of attachment and emotion. This approach supports couples in understanding and expressing their own needs, as well as responding to their partner's needs, in ways that enhance connectedness and help them feel supported, appreciated, and loved.

    Couples Immersions

  • ADHD brains have many strengths, and also it can be hard to function in the world we live in!

Whether you've been formally diagnosed with ADHD or not, I use a neurodiversity-affirming approach to support you in better understanding your nervous system's wants, needs, boundaries, and strengths.

I work with individuals on identifying strategies to:

    • increase focus and organization

    • reduce feelings of overwhelm

    • communicate needs to others

I support clients in achieving their goals and ultimately, move towards living the life they want for themselves.

  • As humans, we need connection. And it can be so painful when important relationships in our lives don't look like what we want, need, or expect. Whether it's a relationship with a partner, parent, sibling, friend, colleague, or child, I work with clients to identify what it is they want and need. From there, we can explore acceptance, boundary-setting, and healing, with the goal of clients moving towards the relationships they envision in their lives.

  • Anxiety is our body's protective response to danger. But when that system is overactive, it can be an obstacle to us feeling and acting in ways that serve us.

I work with individuals to deepen understanding and connection with their body's anxiety response. We can then explore root causes of the anxiety (which may include patterns inherited from families of origin), working together to develop tools and strategies to decrease distress and move towards living the life they want.
